The time when you see a group of children playing, there is a great deal more behind it. Whether it’s your own child or other children, there is plenty for you to learn from the way children’s minds work, which is evident from their playing habits. For children, playing comes naturally, it is an activity which is fun and helps them to evolve a sense of camaraderie among them. Playing takes various forms and is beyond formal activity. It’s important to bear in mind that children playing together learn a great deal from each other, which contributes significantly to their development.

It starts from the time when they are babies and toddlers. Children are driven by a natural inclination to curiosity, which must be delicately nurtured by parents. It is a form of communication with adults and their peers and it helps them to grow knowing what is around them. Children like actions such as grasping and pushing in order to make interesting and funny postures. They mostly use the pushing of the ball to make it roll as a part in children playing habits at the early stage when the child is a toddler. This particular experience makes the children to feel pleasure and sensation of movement. Generally, as the infants grow, most of them will be rolling the ball then crawl after it to get it. The children tend to come up with simple actions which are co-coordinated to produce delightful experience to them.

Through this, children are able to meet intellectual and social needs which help in preparing them for future challenges. There are games where the children playing are based on certain rules and regulations to observe which make them understand the art of making friends, socializing, and reasoning concepts. They also learn on how to be on the defensive as well as on the offensive sides and the need of both the sides. Other games are there that help the children playing to be intellectually motivated games such as card games. It helps them to understand the psychology of the opponents and also to develop the ability of calculations.

Many parents consider that playing is a waste of time and does not offer any benefits for their kids. On the contrary, regular playing for about an hour helps the child to not only have fun, but also supports good physical as well as mental growth of the children.
